Pleasurewood Hills has signed up to support two great causes for 2019 – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and Pathways Care Farm. We’ll be taking on challenges, planning special activities and organising collections throughout the season to raise money for these fantastic charities.
EACH offers care to children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and support to their families. Their family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management support, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies and counselling; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family. EACH supports families across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex and has hospices in Quidenham, Ipswich and Milton.
Pathways Care Farm gives vulnerable people the opportunity to learn, re-build and grow through a range of hands-on farming activities. This might include planting, fruit and vegetable cultivation, helping to restore a barn, animal husbandry or even the basics of machinery maintenance. Pathways Care Farm sits on a beautiful 13 acre site in north Lowestoft and has been a working farm since the 19th century. In more recent times the farm has been largely unused but, with the construction of a new section of the A12, an opportunity has presented itself to return the site to its roots.

Due to the volume of requests we receive for raffle prizes and donations to charities we are unable to support individual causes and fundraisers unless they are directly linked to EACH or Pathways Care Farm.
