Coronavirus / COVID-19

  • What is the park's current position of Cornoavirus/COVID-19?

    Further to recent updates from the UK Government in response to the outbreak of COVID-19 Coronavirus, we have taken the decision to postpone the opening of Pleasurewood Hills as a precautionary measure. While like many we have been looking forward to the opening of the park, we believe it is in the best interests of our guests and staff to ensure their safety and wellbeing.


    If you have pre-booked a visit to the park, please do not travel.


    We will work closely with the authorities to have the park open as soon as it is appropriate to do so.


    We will endeavour to keep our guests updated with news and developments via our website and social media channels.

  • How long are you going to be closed for?

    We are treating the situation as ongoing and will continue to follow the guidelines given by the UK Government and Public Health England.

  • I have pre-booked tickets to Pleasurewood Hills. What should I do?

    If you have booked a dated ticket with us online to visit in April or May, these will now be Anytime tickets, that will be valid to use for any date of your choosing during our 2020 season. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our guests via our website and social media platforms.

  • Can I visit reception?

    No. Following the UK Government’s advice on social distancing, we will be closing our reception to the public.

  • Will you be opening for the Easter Holidays?

    The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff is our foremost top priority. Following the guidelines of the UK Government and Public Health England, we will be postponing our opening date of Saturday 4th April and will be likely to remain closed for the duration of the Easter holidays.

  • Can I still purchase tickets for future dates?

    Tickets can still be purchased for future visits to Pleasurewood Hills. We also have Anytime Tickets available that can be redeemed on any of our open days during the season calendar. We advise our guests to keep connected with our website and social media pages for news and announcements as they arise.

  • I’m a season pass holder. What should I do?

    Our passes allow guests unlimited entry during our opening calendar. Should we be closed for a significant period during the Season, we will review the terms and conditions of our 2020 Season Pass to ensure they still represent good value. Any further updates will be posted on our social platforms and website.

  • I am paying for my season passes by Direct Debit, what should I do?

    Direct Debit payments would proceed as normal. Paused payments will result in a suspended membership until payments resume. Should we be closed for a significant period during the Season, we will review the terms and conditions of our 2020 Season Pass to ensure they still represent good value. Any further updates will be posted on our social platforms and website.

  • I have a 2020 free admission ticket that expires soon, would the valid date be extended?

    If you have a complimentary pass that is dated for the 2020 season, their validity will be extended up to 31st July 2020.

  • I have Tesco Clubcard points, should I redeem them?

    Tesco have temporarily suspended the redemption of Clubcard points to use at Pleasurewood Hills. We will continue to work closely with the authorities to ensure we open again when advised it is safe to do so. We will advise Tesco to make these available. We will keep our website and social media platforms updated with news as it arises. Those who have redeemed points to visit the park during the time we are closed, please contact Tesco Clubcard customer services on 0800 591688.

  • We plan to visit as a group, school, coach operator. Who do we contact for queries?

    Visits during our closed period can be moved to a future date. All queries can be emailed to with reference to School/Group/Coach.

Our Park

  • When does the park open?

    The park is open between April and October on selected dates. For opening dates click here.

    The park is open from 10am to 5pm (or 6pm on selected dates in July and August).

  • What is the minimum park entry age?

    Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Any under 12s without adult supervision will be refused entry.

  • Can we bring dogs into the park?

    Dogs (except guide and assistance dogs) are not allowed on park. Please note that under no circumstances should dogs be left in vehicles on our car park.

  • How do I make a complaint or offer some feedback about our visit?

    We hope that everyone has a brilliant time during their visit but if something falls short of your expectations, please talk to a team member on the day of your visit. They will help to address any issues you are having and, if they are unable to help you personally will refer you to the Duty Manager.

Rides & Attractions

  • Are there any minimum or maximum height restrictions?

    Some height restrictions do apply for certain rides – full details are included on the ride information page of our website. If you are unsure whether the ride is suitable for you or a member of your party, look out for the height boards near each ride for details of any minimum or maximum restrictions.

Tickets & Bookings

  • I’m disabled - what proof do I need to get the concession ticket price?

    We offer a concession rate of £17.50 per guest at the gate. We ask for one of the following documents to support the ticket price:

    • A certified NHS Letter from your doctor or consultant clearly stating why you are eligible for the policy
    • A DLA, DWP or PIP letter
    • A blue badge along with an additional form of photographic identification
  • If I do not want to go on any of the rides, do I still need to pay to come in?

    All guests have to pay to enter the park. We offer a non-rider ticket at £12 per guest, which entitles guests to visit the sealion and parrot shows, ride the trains and chairlift plus enjoy any other on park entertainers that might be available on the day – all other rides are exempt. If you change your mind during the day and want to go on the rides, simply present your receipt at the admission booths and they can upgrade you to a full day entry. This rate may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount and may not be paid for with Tesco vouchers.

  • How do I get ‘Group Rates’?

    We offer discounted group rates of £17.50 for 20+ guests. A meal deal option which costs £21.50 is also available for groups with 20+ guests.

  • Can we use Tesco Vouchers on the park?

    Tesco Clubcard vouchers are only valid against full-priced individual Gold and Silver (Pay-on-Day) admissions, when presented on arrival at our admission booths. These are not valid against season passes, pre-booked, online or concessionary rates. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Please note that we cannot give change for any Tesco vouchers due to their new policy.

  • I can’t print my internet ticket, can I still buy online?

    When you purchase a ticket online you will be emailed with your booking confirmation and on this you will have a unique six digit reference number and/or bar code. If you take a screenshot of this or make a note of your booking reference number our team will be able to retrieve your booking when you arrive.

  • My vouchers just says “Terms and Conditions Apply”, what does this mean?

    If your voucher doesn’t have any specific terms and conditions, it means the voucher has our standard terms. This means that you can use the voucher or discount ticket, but you can’t use it in conjunction with any other offer, discount or Tesco Clubcard voucher. The voucher you have can only be used against full priced Gold and Silver admissions.

    The management reserve the right to withdraw or alter any of the facilities at any time without prior notice. Guests are informed that rides, shows and attractions may be closed temporarily, withdrawn or otherwise unavailable at any time due to technical or operational reasons, capacity or inclement weather.

    The management are not obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets. Some rides have height restrictions.

    Tesco Clubcard vouchers are only redeemable against Gold and Silver admissions.

  • I have a voucher, can I use this online?

    If your voucher has an online voucher code it can be used when booking tickets online – you will need to enter the code when prompted on the screen. Voucher codes cannot be used with our online discounted tickets and can only be used for standard Gold and Silver tickets which cost £22 or £20. To buy tickets using a voucher code Click Here.

    Please be aware that some of our vouchers can only be used for on-the-day entry at the admission booths.
