The East Coast saw a fantastic gathering of car enthusiasts and fun lovers to help raise money and awareness for one of the UK’s leading children’s charities this month, and there to offer a helping hand was everyone’s favourite mascot, our very own Woody bear.
Helping care for and save the lives of ill children, Great Ormond Street Hospital have been doing their amazing work since as far back as the 17th Century. Present at the Corton Car event was Bella, who at a tender age has already had open heart surgery five times while in the care of Great Ormond Street.
The event featured classic cars from all the past decades with some more modern additions, music and plenty of fun and games for families to enjoy. Featured was a custom styled Lotus Elise, belonging to event organizer and father to Bella, Garry Smith.
This year’s rally raised £3680 for Great Ormond Street and the organisers would love to share their thanks to all the businesses and people who came to support the cause.
