What an amazing day for everyone with such a good turn out and beautiful weather, the perfect stage was set for this year’s Pancake Race.
Organized by Lowestoft Vision and taking place on London Road South outside the Beales department store, companies battled it out to win the title of race champions celebrating this year’s Pancake Day.
Starting the proceedingsĀ was the battle royale between the mascots, featuring our very own cuddly friend Woody bear. Fortune favoured elsewhere this time round with Woody being joint third. Congratulations to the British Heart Foundation for winning the mascot trophy and well done to Ant from Access Community Trust and Freddy Frog of First Buses who also put on a great show.
In the businesses races many teams took part, but it was congratulations to the Marina Theatre for emerging victorious and winning this year’s crown of Pancake Champions.
