Nominated Charities

Pleasurewood Hills has signed up to support two great causes for 2019 – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and Pathways Care Farm. We’ll be taking on challenges, planning special activities and organising collections throughout the season to raise money for these fantastic charities.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH)

EACH offers care to children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and support to their families. Their family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management support, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies and counselling; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family. EACH supports families across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex and has hospices in Quidenham, Ipswich and Milton.

Pathways Care Farm

Pathways Care Farm gives vulnerable people the opportunity to learn, re-build and grow through a range of hands-on farming activities. This might include planting, fruit and vegetable cultivation, helping to restore a barn, animal husbandry or even the basics of machinery maintenance. Pathways Care Farm sits on a beautiful 13 acre site in north Lowestoft and has been a working farm since the 19th century. In more recent times the farm has been largely unused but, with the construction of a new section of the A12, an opportunity has presented itself to return the site to its roots.

Apply to be one of our chosen charities for 2020

If you’re a registered charity and would like to be considered as one of our designated charities for 2020 please send an email to reception@pleasurewoodhills.com before 31 October 2019. Please note that telephone requests will not be accepted. In your request please include:

  • The charity name, address and charity number
  • A contact name, email, postal address and phone number
  • A brief summary of the cause

Due to the volume of requests we receive for raffle prizes and donations to charities we are unable to support individual causes and fundraisers unless they are directly linked to EACH or Pathways Care Farm.
